Our Partnership
The “BPP” in our name represents the collaboration between Buffalo Point First Nation and the Rural Municipality of Piney. This jointly governed service region works together to make transportation more accessible for all residents within our communities.
Our Service Model
BPP Rent & Ride combines carsharing and carpooling principles to create a unique community transportation solution:
- Carsharing: We own and maintain the vehicles, eliminating the hassle, risks, and costs of vehicle ownership for community organizations
- Carpooling: Our vehicles are designed for group travel, enabling multiple residents to travel together to the same destination
This model makes every trip both an adventure and a smart financial choice by saving on travel costs and reducing wear and tear on personal vehicles.
Our Fleet
We currently offer two vehicles to serve different community needs:
- 2023 Toyota Sienna: A 7-passenger hybrid van offering comfort and fuel efficiency
- 2018 Ram ProMaster 2500: A 10-passenger wheelchair accessible van ensuring we can accommodate all residents’ needs

Both vehicles are available seven days a week at our designated home locations in Vassar and Buffalo Point.
