BPP Rent & Ride Inc. provides affordable, community-based transportation options for approved users in the Buffalo Point First Nation and RM of Piney partnership region. Our rates and fees are structured to sustain our operations on a non-profit basis while keeping costs accessible for community organizations.

Reservation Adjustments
Early Returns
- Vehicles returned early to the designated home location may receive a 20% discount on the hourly fee for the remaining hours of the reservation
- Vehicles returned 4 hours or less before the scheduled return time may not be charged for the remaining hours
Late Returns
- Vehicles returned after the scheduled return time will be subject to a $10.00/hr late fee
Cancellations
- Reservations cancelled 24 hours or more before the reserved pick-up time: No charge
- Reservations cancelled less than 24 hours before the reserved pick-up time: $1.00/hr cancellation fee for the reservation period
- Cancellations due to Environment Canada weather warnings or watches for Buffalo Point, RM of Piney, or your planned destination: No charge
No-Shows
- Reservations that are not cancelled and where the vehicle is not picked up: $5.00/hr for each hour the vehicle was reserved
- After 24 hours from the scheduled pick-up time, the BPP Board may rent the vehicle to another party
Other Fees
Vehicle Operation
- Low Fuel Fee: Vehicles returned with less than ¾ tank of fuel will incur the actual cost of refueling plus a 25% service charge
- Vehicle Cleaning (less than 1hr): $25.00
- Vehicle Cleaning (more than 1hr): Actual cost plus 50%
- Pet Cleaning: Actual cost plus 50%
- Prohibited Usage: $500.00 plus actual costs
Security & Deposits
- User Security Deposit: $500.00 (refundable)
- Required from all approved users
- Held in reserve by BPP Rent & Ride
- Returned within 60 days after termination (less any liens for unpaid accounts)
- Must be replenished if reduced due to damages or monies owed

Additional Charges
- Phone Usage: Actual cost
- Abandoned/Unreturned Vehicle: $500.00 plus actual costs
- Parking/Traffic Tickets: Actual cost plus 50%
- Towing Costs: Actual cost plus 50%
- Repairs: Actual cost plus 50%
- Collisions: Insurance deductible plus 50%
- Unreported Damages: $50.00
- NSF Fee: $50.00 for returned checks due to non-sufficient funds
- Interest: 1.25% monthly on payments made after 30 days of the invoice date
Billing Information
- Approved users will receive one invoice per account, per month
- Payment is due within 30 days of the invoice date
- All rates are payable in Canadian dollars
Appeals Process
Approved users may request to appeal invoiced fees by filing a written request to BPP Administration within 21 days of receiving the invoice. Appeals must provide reasoning and can be sent to:
